Gene Phillips is a Principal Consultant at Prosperant, representing us in all of our US-based projects. He has been in the financial and legal industries for the past 20 years, and most recently co-founded PF2 Securities to provide valuation and litigation consulting services. Out of PF2’s New York, Los Angeles and Sydney offices, Gene and PF2 have been engaged by law firms and enforcement authorities in the US, UK, Canada, Australia and the Netherlands as consultants on large-scale commercial litigation and arbitration, including playing the roles of being “experts on experts.” Gene also serves as a Special Advisor to Validity Finance, a prominent New York-based provider of financing and strategic advice to law firm clients. Gene holds an undergraduate in mathematics and an Honors degree in the Mathematics of Finance from the University of the Witwatersrand. Prior to PF2, he was an analyst overseeing processing for rating complex securities at Moody’s and thereafter sat on the trading desk at Citigroup Alternative Investments, a multi-billion dollar hedge fund within Citi.
